The Dubai Health Authority announced the availability of more than 350 job opportunities in the health sector, dedicated to employing citizens in (health/medical, technical, and administrative) specializations, as part of the Emiratisation policy that the authority is implementing.
The Authority, through Dr. Marwan Al Mulla, Executive Director of the Health Regulation Sector, indicated that details of vacancies and other educational and employment opportunities will be available at the Talents Exhibition, which the Authority is organising from 24 to 26 September as part of the UAE Vision 2024 Careers Exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, to encourage citizens to study health specialisations and support and encourage the private health sector to Emiratise.
Dr. Al Mulla stressed that the Dubai Health Authority pays great attention to the expertise and competencies of the nationals, and is keen to expand the scope of job opportunities for them, and that there is a remarkable response from the private health sector in Dubai to the goals and requirements of the Emiratisation policy pursued by the Authority, which increases job opportunities in various specializations, and opens the way to support this vital sector with national elements and expertise.
He explained that the Authority launched the “Health Talents” initiative a year ago, which is organised by the Department of Medical Education and Research, as part of a group of innovative initiatives that aim to provide specialised employment opportunities for national cadres, enabling them to participate in improving the quality of the healthcare system and contributing to its continuous development, and enhancing the aspirations of the Emirate of Dubai to achieve sustainable health.
He added: The implementation of the initiative is based on holding a qualitative exhibition, “Talents”, within the “Roya” exhibition, the leading platform for employing and empowering youth. It will bring together many health facilities in Dubai with national competencies and graduates of the scholarship programme (Medicine and Sciences) implemented by the Authority, in addition to graduates of various health specialisations such as nursing, radiology, laboratories, pharmacy, physiotherapy, health insurance, medical equipment engineering, psychology, in addition to other administrative specialisations.
For her part, Dr. Wadiah Mohammed, Director of the Medical Education and Research Department at the Authority, explained that 24 health institutions are scheduled to participate in the Talents Exhibition, stressing that this number of participations reflects the level of fruitful cooperation between the Authority and the private health sector in Dubai.
She said: The exhibition will extend over three days, and will provide more than 350 job opportunities in various health and administrative specialties. In addition, memoranda of understanding will be signed and awareness workshops will be held on various medical and administrative topics, to enable national cadres to join the field of work.
