“Dubai Ambulance” launches an initiative to train sailors and fishermen on emergency ambulance

The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services reported that it had launched an initiative called (Our Sailors in Conservation and Conservation), in cooperation with the Dubai Neighborhood Council, aimed at educating and training sailors and fishermen on emergency ambulance.

The Foundation explained that the initiative is being carried out under the generous sponsorship of Al-Youssef Motors, and targets fishermen and workers in the fishermen’s port.

Head of the Port Ambulance Division at the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Zaid Al Maamari, said, “In Dubai Ambulance, we adopt qualitative initiatives aimed at educating the public about precautionary measures and first aid that they may be exposed to while at sea or on a visit to the beach, especially since the summer season is the most popular season for activities. Navy”.

He added, “We invited the fishermen to join the community volunteering program adopted by the Foundation and receive training on the most important first aid in a professional manner that will enable them to deal with cases at sea and serve the community, stressing that volunteer work in the community spreads the spirit of cooperation and solidarity, and enhances the values ​​of altruism and giving.”

The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services team distributed first aid kits and a number of life jackets to the participants in the initiative.

For his part, the General Manager of Al Yousef Motors, Hassan Al Jayyousi, affirmed the company’s support for this initiative in line with the company’s general policy to support fishermen and similar government initiatives. Al Yousef Motors will also provide an awareness explanation on how to maintain the engines in an ideal manner to benefit from them to the fullest extent and to be of assistance to the fishermen in their work.
