A documentary on Israeli television shows a suspected Hamas propaganda video that was made during the attack on Israel on October 7th.
Tel Aviv – The Israeli Channel Channel 12 shows a video that is said to have been taken during Hamas' brutal attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. It shows the preparations in the Gaza Strip, the overcoming of the borders, the attack on an Israeli military base and how the Hamas terrorists penetrate an Israeli kibuz – until the death of one of the men who was wearing a camera on his body. They are impressive scenes, some of which seem like a video game and were probably part of Hamas' propaganda material that it shared on social networks on the morning of the attack on Israel.
The authenticity of the video has not been verified by IPPEN.MEDIA. On Israeli TV, the recordings are classified by a journalist and two experts, and the translations also come from the broadcaster Channel 12.
Hamas propaganda video shows calm scenes preparing for the terrorist attack
The documentary begins with footage of a kind of breakfast scene. Several men can be seen, some sitting on a carpet around a coffee table, some standing at the door. They drink tea, have a meeting. Around them: laptops and radios. The mood is calm. There is a white package on the table that the Israeli TV station has sent to them synthetic drug Captagon holds, which may also be of was consumed by Russian Wagner mercenaries in the Ukraine War.
Who consumed how much of it remains open in the video. According to the Israeli translation, however, one of the terrorists is said to have said that “the sheikh” had brought money – and laid out bundles of banknotes as reward for the upcoming, cruel attack.
Hamas terrorists break through the fence without Israeli resistance
The atmosphere in the video becomes completely different a few minutes later: the Hamas terrorists are sitting in pickup trucks and several on motorcycles, are armed and screaming. A short time later they reach a fence that apparently marks the border between Israeli territory and the Gaza Strip. It will be cut through and small ramps will be laid out to make the wall passable for motorcycles.
“Allah Akbar, we’re done, people,” one of the terrorists announces. “The cameras also record what didn’t happen – the terrorists are not encountering any Israeli resistance here,” comments the Israeli TV station.
Hamas terrorists shoot around military bases and kibbutz
The Hamas men then encountered resistance in an Israeli military base – shots were fired from both sides. But apparently the Israeli soldiers soon withdrew and the Hamas terrorists crossed the area, walking past tanks and military barracks.
And again the terrorists push through a fence and fire shots: apparently they reach the entrance to a kibuz, an Israeli housing estate. The terrorist, equipped with the body camera, crosses gardens and runs into a kitchen where breakfast was apparently just being had. There are children's drinking bottles and a tablet on the kitchen table, and school bags on the floor next to them.
Towards the end of the video you can see the man collapse, apparently hit by a gunshot. He stays lying on a meadow, says a few words, then the video ends. On that day, the residents of the kibuz lost their lives, their relatives and their sense of security forever. The images from the Gaza Strip would probably no longer exist today as they did on October 7th. Current images show destroyed apartment blocks, and doctors report horrific conditions in Gaza's hospitals.
