Many big personalities of Bollywood have already come under the scrutiny of NCB in the investigation of drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. Now the big name of the TV industry and the name of comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya have also been added to it. The NCB raided Bharti Singh’s house and office on Saturday morning under the guise of drugs paddler and recovered 86.5 grams of hemp from there.
After several hours of interrogation, the NCB arrested Bharti Singh before the sun set. While NCB arrested her husband Harsh after 18 hours of questioning. Both confessed the use of cannabis to the authorities. Today, NCB officials will physically present both of them in the court at 11:30 am. Both the medical test and corona test will also be done before presenting in the court. In the drugs case, till now, the production and hearing were being done through video conferencing.
His mother and friend reached Bharti
According to the information received, Bharti’s mother and Bharti’s friend reached the NCB office at around 10:30 pm on Saturday. But inside the office, only Bharti’s friends went, who had some medicines for Bharti. However, despite asking them about what kind of medicine it was, they did not say anything. Bharati’s mother and her friends went back after staying in the NCB office for about 15 minutes.
86.5 grams of hemp recovered
After getting the hemp from the house, both of them were first detained by the NCB. Bharti Singh has been arrested after questioning. Actually, a drug peddler was caught by the NCB. Bharti and Harsh were raided at his spot. In this raid, 86.5 grams of hemp was recovered from both the houses. After this seizure, both were brought to the NCB office. NCB raided not only at home but also at Bharti Singh’s office.
