Four rallies, four winners
The Croatian Rally thrilled fans with the long fight between Thierry Neuville and Elfyn Evans for the final success, with the Belgian from Hyundai appearing to be on his way to his second success of the season. All this, at least, until Sunday morning, with two errors committed by Neuville and the Welshman from Toyota which opened the doors to success for Sébastien Ogier. In this way, the eight-time world champion took the lead, maintaining the top of the general classification up to and including the Power Stage, in a season which has so far seen four different winners in the first four rounds held. The Frenchman, participating part-time in this championship, has not however upset the noble area of the ranking, still occupied by Neuville. Despite the 3rd place finish right behind Evans, the Belgian leads the group 86 points, six more than those of his direct opponent. On the other hand, Ogier's victory allows him to reach Takamoto Katsuta in 5th place, both on equal points. The top-3 is closed by Adrien Fourmaux with Ford, in a Constructors' championship which still sees the Toyota in the head of seven points ahead of Hyundai.
