Another serious accident in the capital: a 53-year-old man who was riding a motorbike with a friend died
A tragic afternoon yesterday in Rome. Around 4:30 pm a 53 year old man lost his life in a dramatic accident in the area of Corcolle Gardensin via Acqualagna. The victim was traveling as a passenger on a motorcycle driven by a 46-year-old friend, when he suddenly fell from the moving vehicle, dying instantly. According to initial reconstructions, the cause of the fall could be a sudden illness, which left no escape for the 53-year-old.
The agents of the VI Torri Group of the Local Police of Rome Capitale intervened quickly on site to start the investigation and collect all the elements useful to clarify the dynamics of the incident. The driver of the motorcycle, deeply shaken, was taken to the Policlinico di Tor Vergata, and subjected to alcohol and toxicology tests, as required by law. Even if the investigations continue, the main hypothesis remains that of a tragic fatality, triggered by the victim’s illness.

Two cars collided violently, and for a man of 74 years old there was nothing that could be done. The impact was fatal. The highway was closed to traffic to allow the Highway Patrol to carry out the necessary surveys and clarify the dynamics of the accident.
The Fire Department also intervened on the scene, working for a long time to extract the injured from the crumpled sheets of the cars involved. At the moment, the causes of the collision remain unclear, and investigations are ongoing to determine whether one of the drivers was responsible for the accident.
The two tragedies, which occurred within hours of each other, have left a deep mark on citizens and reopened the debate on road safety. Two lives shattered in different but equally dramatic circumstances, which demonstrate how fate and unpredictability can strike suddenly.
