SQUARE ENIX shared, in addition to a rich gallery of images, new information on DRAGON QUEST X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offlinesingle player version of the popular MMORPG DRAGON QUEST Xunfortunately never landed in the West.
First of all, we discover that the game will have a character development system in which leveling up will earn skill points to be spent to unlock new “panels”, in a checkerboard system that closely resembles that of DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Starting from the center, it will therefore be possible to unlock the adjacent skills and obtain them by spending their points. Revealing various panels, you can then come across the “secret panels”, marked by a question mark, which will hold the most powerful skills and spells.
All skills can be leveled up thanks to the “Skill-up Panels”, precious ‘pawns’ which, once placed on an empty board of the chessboard, will enhance the adjacent skills in direct proportion to their own ‘rank’.
The game will feature 16 different skill trees, one for each weapon type, as well as a specific tree for each party member, which will mix the skills of up to 4 different weapons together. Furthermore, each character will be able to automatically obtain new skills by leveling up, and will present in their spells tree, ‘skills’ and Coupe de Graces unique.
The “skill-set” of Maillefor example, will offer a good compromise between attack and defense and will focus on the power and flexibility typical of the orc race, while that of Fuura will exploit the powers of the “Wind Rider”To wipe out enemies and heal their comrades. Fuser will instead be specialized in offensive techniques and Dasuton in the use of strange techniques that will plague not only enemies but allies as well.
The game, we recall, will be published in the course of the summer in Japan on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 And Nintendo Switch. There is currently no publication in the West.
