During the panel of the San Diego Comic Con, as we had anticipated, the twenty-first, new film in the saga of Dragon Ball, which now has an official title – DRAGON BALL SUPER: Super Hero. We do not know all the details yet, but during the conference we were shown the design of old and new characters and some settings, including the original House of Small in Namek style. In the cast we find Krillin still under the guise of a policeman, one Pan grown up with the uniform of the kindergarten and a Small more faithful to the colors seen in the manga, as well as a group of aliens who will probably be the main antagonists of the film. A very short teaser trailer was also shown, which you can find at minute 21:52 of the video that we include below, from which we can guess that probably the film will be fully animated in CGIwhile maintaining a classic two-dimensional look.
We still don’t know much about the plot, except that it will revolve around the Super Heroes theme, which will probably be the trio of aliens shown in the images that we include at the end of the article. Attended the conference Masako Nozawa, item of Goku, Gohan is Goten, as well as Hironobu Kageyama as a music performer. The film will be released in 2022 worldwide, but the launch window may vary by country. Akira Toriyama, original author of the series, will take care of screenplay and character design.
