BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment reveals a new trailer for DRAGON BALL: Sparkling! ZEROthe highly anticipated new chapter in the saga of Budokai Tenkaichi that the next one will come October 11th.
In this new video some of the game modes are revealed. The first, Episode Battlewill allow us to choose between eight characters to relive some key battles of DRAGON BALL Z And DRAGON BALL SUPER (until the Tournament of Power), with filmed sequences to experience firsthand and the possibility of making decisions that will lead to alternative scenarios.
The second mode is the Custom Battlewhich will allow us to create scenarios involving our favorite characters and even modify dialogues and cutscenes, to create scenes that can be uploaded online.
Finally, the mode is confirmed local multiplayerwhich can be used in split screen only in the scenario of Room of Spirit and Time. More details can be found below.

While DRAGON BALL: Sparkling! ZERO prepares for its launch scheduled for October 11, 2024, more details have been revealed about the modes and features that will be present in the game.
The first feature illustrated by Jun Furutani, the producer of DRAGON BALL: Sparkling! ZEROand the Episode Battle. In this single player mode, you will be able to choose between 8 characters, such as Goku and Vegeta, and experience or relive some of the key battles of DRAGON BALL Z, up to the tournament of power of DRAGON BALL SUPER. But the battles will be only part of the fun, as players will also be able to witness some cinematic sequences firsthand, increasing their immersion in the game and making some decisions that will allow them to experience alternative scenarios from the franchise they know and love in certain internship.
The second feature, the mode Custom Battle, allows players to have fun creating scenarios involving their favorite characters from the franchise. Bonus Battles are developer-created scenarios with different victory conditions and unique cutscenes. But that’s not all, as characters, conditions, filmed sequences and battles can also be created from scratch or starting from existing Bonus Battles, with players being able to give life to the battle they’ve always dreamed of and then share it with the whole world.
DRAGON BALL: Sparkling! ZERO will also include an offline multiplayer mode. While the game was designed with an online multiplayer and single-player experience in mind to make the most of the new console generation, the development team wanted to create the definitive DRAGON BALL experience, allowing new players and veterans of the series to face each other from the comfort of their own home, reliving childhood memories or honing their skills in the Room of Spirit and Time.
DRAGON BALL: Sparkling! ZERO will be available from October 11, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
