Mario appears during the Garlic Jr. saga and is introduced as Krillin's girlfriend. While she takes a bath with the boy, the Magic Dust infests the population and only the two of them – among the people on the island – are saved. Krillin takes her to safety at Karin's Tower and when the battle with the villain of the moment is over, the girl no longer wants to know about Krillin.
It will then reappear in the Android saga looking for Krillin stating that he is the only man she has ever loved. However, the waiting tires her and pushes her to leave, demonstrating the frivolity of the character. He will no longer appear in the saga. Marion, in the original version, has the same name as Krillin's daughter, but Toryama stated that there is no connection or reference between the two characters.
