We meet a new party of heroes
A few days ago we witnessed the sudden change of title for the fourth chapter of the Dragon Age series, went from being Dragon Age: Dreadwolf to Dragon Age: The Veilguard. With the name change we also expected a change in mood, and so it was, as we could ascertain from the reveal trailer shown during theXbox Games Showcase 2024.
No gameplay, but a lot of irons in the fire regarding the cast of characters that will make up our party in its adventure in the lands of Thedas. Led by a familiar face like Varric, we will discover many personalities and interpretations of the classic figures of the series.
These are the characters we will meet:
- Harding: the Scout
- Snow: the Detective
- Emmrich: the Necromancer
- Taash: the Dragon Hunter
- Davrin: The Warden
- Bellara: the Veil Jumper
- Lucanis: the assassin of Mages
The protagonist will have to bring together these different personalities and become the Veilguard to face the threat that looms over the world. He will obviously not miss an important role for the Dread Wolf, but the center of the scene will be entrusted to the main cast.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard expands the history of the world of Dragon Age by taking characters from previous episodes and immersing them in a new world full of mysteries, dungeons and many cities full of inhabitants and conflicts linked to the presence of magic. The protagonist, created by the player, will once again have the task of becoming the tip of the balance and at the same time facing the ancient corrupt gods.
