In 2018, Dragalia Lost it became the first entirely new IP developed by Nintendo exclusively for mobile devices. However, the servers of this title will come to an end this yearsad news for all fans of this game.
Through a statement on the official page of the game, it has been revealed that the story of Dragalia Lost will come to an end with the release of the second part of chapter 26 next July. After that, it will only be a matter of waiting a couple of months for the servers to come to an end. Although an exact date for this has not been revealed at the moment, Nintendo will share more information in the coming weeks. This was what was said about it:
“The Dragalia Lost team would like to thank each and every one of our players, past and present, for their love and support of Dragalia Lost since its launch. We sincerely hope that you have enjoyed your experience with the game from the moment you started playing it, and we will strive to ensure that you continue to do so as long as time allows.”
The announcement also confirmed that after a new group of heroes is added on March 31, the game will not receive additional content outside of the main campaign and “certain story missions.” Thus, Dragalia Lost joins games like miitomo and dr mario world in closing its doors to mobile device users.
On related topics, we already know when the doors of Super Nintendo World will open in the United States. Similarly, the Switch receives a new update, and here we tell you what it adds.
Editor’s note:
Nintendo has mixed luck when it comes to mobile gaming. Of all the titles they have released only mario kart tour and Fire Emblem Heroes they have managed to be a success, and this is mainly due to the use of already known properties. I only hope that this does not detract from the Big N from continuing to create this type of experience.
