The TV doctor said that during the measurement of pressure it is impossible to cross the legs. “It turns out that if you cross your legs, your blood pressure can rise as much as ten millimeters of mercury,” he explained.
According to Myasnikov, to get the most accurate readings of pressure, you need to sit down, take a relaxed posture and lean slightly on a chair. The doctor specified that both feet should be completely on the floor, and the hand should be at the level of the heart.
Earlier, Myasnikov criticized doctors who prescribe blood-thinning drugs for mild COVID-19. He stressed that the prescription of such drugs without appropriate indications is contrary to the recommendations of the Russian Ministry of Health.
