Doctor and TV presenter Yevgeny Komarovsky broadcast TV channel “Ukraine” called a common mistake with a headache.
According to him, with a severe headache, it is useless to drink non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in the form of tablets. He explained that due to intense pain, vasospasm may occur, and the pill will “lie in the stomach and not be absorbed.”
The specialist advised to use the drug in liquid dosage form. “For example, not a pill, but a syrup,” he said.
Komarovsky also noted a significant difference between headache and migraine. According to him, with a migraine, the pain will be episodically repeated and have a paroxysmal character. He clarified that the duration of the attacks can last from four hours to three days.
In addition, migraine pain can be accompanied by increased sensitivity to external stimuli and cause nausea.
Earlier, Komarovsky told how pale skin in a child can be dangerous at a temperature of 37.5 degrees. The doctor called this symptom a sign of a bacterial infection. In addition, lethargy at the same temperature may indicate a bacterial complication, he added.
