Maricielo Effio decided to speak publicly about an unfortunate experience he would have had in the operating room of the renowned Dr. Fong. The actress had undergone a mini tummy tuck in 2022 to achieve a more toned abdomen. She mentioned that, after becoming a mother, she found it difficult to eliminate certain localized fat.
However, she was totally surprised when the results were completely different than anticipated. In an interview for the program 'América hoy', she revealed that she consulted with Víctor Barriga Fong, known in the artistic world as Dr. Fong, up to three times, before deciding on surgery.
The actress reported that it was necessary to perform two surgical procedures to obtain the expected result and that she meticulously followed all postoperative recommendations, aware of the importance of taking care of herself during her first surgery. “It was a 4 to 5 hour process, the operation. I followed everything to the letter in the postoperative period. I was very obedient in the whole issue of aesthetics and therapy,” he said.
After consulting with several specialists, he was informed that the surgery had not been performed correctly, which could explain the deformity observed in his abdomen. “They said it was bad practice, they didn't operate on me well. There was a bad cut, they put my navel in. They gave me a bad operation, and it is the result of a bad cut below,” she commented. “My abdomen began to get kind of strange, with lines, totally hard, with skin that had no (…).
