THE Downing Street employees attended another lockdown party, on April 16 last, complete with alcohol and loud music. And this the day before Queen Elizabeth mourned alone the death of Prince Philip at his funeral, because the lockdown imposed by the British authorities did not allow participation in the religious service in the private chapel of Windsor Castle. The Daily Telegraph notes this, explaining that about thirty people attended the event organized in Downing Street and in the garden. Prime Minister Boris Johnson was not present among them, who had instead gone to the country residence at Checkers.
The rules in force at that time allowed up to six people or two families to meet outside, while inside people could only socialize with their family or respect the rules of the ‘bubble’.
