Eintracht Frankfurt is looking for a replacement for Bas Dost (moved to Bruges) apparently at Inter Milan found what I was looking for. The SBU wants to dig deep into its pockets for storm talent Andrea Pinamonti.
Bruges turned over four million euros for Bas Dost and made Eintracht an offer that they could not refuse. But now there is a need in the storm. In addition to Sam Lammers, on whom Eintracht is said to have cast an eye, another attacker from the Italian Serie A has moved into the eagles’ field of vision.
As Gianluca Di Marzio reports, the Bundesliga club is dealing with a loan from Inter Milan’s Andrea Pinamonti. The talented 21-year-old does not get a chance at Inter and should therefore be sorted out.
According to reports, Inter Milan would anchor a purchase option of 14 to 15 million euros in the loan agreement; that would make Pinamonti the new record transfer for Eintracht. In addition, the SGE would have to pay the salary (1.8 million euros net) that the 21-year-old earns in Milan.
In the current season, Pinamonti only made three short appearances for the Nerazzurri and should look for his future elsewhere due to the lack of playing time. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the striker would prefer to stay in Italy. Benevento Calcio is to compete with Frankfurt for the services of the 21-year-old.
