Italian international goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma feels that his level has improved since joining Paris Saint-Germain and training alongside Argentine Lionel Messi, Brazilian Neymar and French Kylian Mbappe.
Donnarumma joined Saint-Germain on a free transfer last July, after the expiration of his contract with Milan.
“Training with all these heroes helped me develop as a person and as a player,” the Italian goalkeeper said in a press conference today, Monday.
He added, “It is a good challenge for me. I am happy to train with them and mature, and to go forward with these new challenges for me. I always try to give as much as I can.”
Donnarumma, 22, participated in the last two matches of Saint-Germain and appears to have become the primary choice for Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino at the expense of Keylor Navas.
