The report to the authorities occurred at 1:10 p.m., when it was reported that a subject was shot by an unknown man when he tried to steal the motorcycle he was traveling on. The events took place on Porfirista street with the corner of Carrancista street in the Bicentenario neighborhood, a few blocks from the municipal dump of this city.
Public security agents immediately moved to confirm the facts who upon arrival observed a subject lying on the unpaved street who said his name was Francis Xavier, 42 years old and neighbor of said sector.
The versions of some witnesses to the authorities said that Francisco was circulating on the aforementioned streets aboard an Italika motorcycle when a suspicious man approached him and tried to steal the motorcycle, it was at that moment that the victim tried to prevent the robbery and was attacked with two shots from a firearm, leaving him badly injured in this violent act. The egress fled without perpetrating its objective.
The witnesses pointed out that Don Cacho, as he is known by some neighbors, reported that he was dedicated to collecting aluminum cans to later sell them.
