A Young Russian was sentenced to five years in prison, after he was found guilty of blowing up an FSB security building (KGB successor agency). However, the curious thing about this news is that the event occurred within Minecraft.
This teenager, identified as Nikita Uvarov, was arrested in the summer of 2020 for distributing pamphlets in favor of anarchist detractors of the government of Vladimir Putin. However, the investigation lasted for two more years.
Along with him, charges were filed against two 14-year-olds, who were exonerated from the charges for cooperating against Uvarov, who was found on videos throwing Molotov cocktails and messages in which he planned the attack on the FSB Minecraft building.
