The doctors noted that now there is a positive trend in the epidemiological situation. However, such mass events do not imply compliance with the necessary preventive measures.
“Therefore, of course, such events jeopardize our gains and a positive trend,” said Oksana Drapkina, chief freelance specialist in therapy and general practice of the Ministry of Health.
She added that the medical community is concerned about what is happening, as social distance is not observed in crowded places.
A similar opinion is shared by the chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on infectious diseases, Professor Vladimir Chulanov. According to him, the possibilities for the spread of the coronavirus are very large, since the vaccination of citizens is still at the very beginning. Therefore, any mass events are dangerous, he stressed.
Earlier, the Department of Healthcare reported that 19 people with coronavirus are at an unauthorized rally on Pushkin Square in Moscow.
