Russian actor Fyodor Dobronravov spoke about the continuation of the comedy series “Matchmakers”. The seventh season is expected to be released in the fall of 2021. It is reported by “Moscow’s comsomolets”…
According to Dobronravov, the director of the series, Andrei Yakovlev, decided to shoot the seventh season after letters from fans and the number of views of the series on YouTube, which reached 2.5 billion. Filming was delayed for five years due to relocation and suspension of the process.
Dobronravov stressed that there should have been 16 episodes in the season, but “due to the coronavirus and geopolitical processes in our land”, about nine episodes were eventually filmed. “They couldn’t go to Ukraine, they filmed probably six episodes in Belarus, but they stopped because of the coronavirus. Andrey promised that at the end of autumn they will probably come out. The story is wonderful, and starred in love. All the heroes stayed. The value of the series is that these are the only threads connecting us with Ukraine. Politics is politics, but the people there love the show so much. There was not a single case on the set when someone said something, ”the artist explained.
The actor spoke about the release of the new season in March 2021. Then Dobronravov denied rumors that the seventh part of the TV show would allegedly be released in July. According to him, the remaining shootings were planned for the summer. “In any case, it will not be released until next winter,” said Dobronravov.
