The publisher Team17 has announced the release of paid downloadable content for the game, titled My fault, which will be available from October 31st. The price will be $11.99 with a 20% discount for the first two weeks. Along with this DLC, the free update will also be released “True Torment”, which will offer new challenges and improvements.

The expansion My fault will focus on the legendary lost sword used by The Penitent in the first game, and will include new areas, bosses, abilities, and an alternate ending. Players will be able to explore new territories and face powerful enemies while discovering a new narrative arc that promises to further expand the universe of Blasphemous.
For its part, the free update True Torment will include the long-awaited New Game Plus mode, as well as new connections between zones, additional enemies, new abilities, and accessibility improvements. This update will also expand existing zones such as the Choir of Thorns and the Basilica of Ancient Faces, offering new challenges to players.
Finally, it has been revealed that The Game Kitchen is working on a new project, a tactics-style title that already has its first trailer.
