The world number one in tennis, the Serbian Novak Djokovic, on Monday obtained permission from an Australian court to remain in the country despite not being vaccinated against covid-19, although the government is still considering expelling him.
And while talking about the high option of being expelled from Australia, the player trained in the complex where the first ‘grand slam’ of the year is played and sent a message.

“I am pleased and grateful that the judge has reversed my visa cancellation. Despite everything that has happened, I want to stay and try to compete @AustralianOpen I am still focused on that. I flew here to play in one of the most important events that we have in front of the incredible fans, “he said on his social media.
Similarly, the message is accompanied by a photo in which Djokovic is next to his coaching staff on a court in Melbourne.
“For now I can not say more, but THANK YOU all for being with me through all this and encouraging me to stay strong,” said the Serbian tennis player.
So far, Djokovic has managed to get a court to allow him to stay in Australia, but the government could order his expulsion at its discretion.
