In AFAS Live in Amsterdam, 53-year-old David Guetta, who also took the lead in 2011, expressed his gratitude on Wednesday. “It means so much. I’ve worked really hard this year. We’ve taken United at Home to new heights, were finally reunited on the dance floor and I’ve released more music than ever,” says Guetta. ,,It was great to play new music live and the energy and reactions of the crowd keep me going after all these years. Music is my passion and to be able to experience that every day, I owe it all to my fans.”
Guetta is considered one of the founders of dance music. In 2002 he scored with Love, Don’t Let Me Go his first Top 40 hit. In the years that followed, he also produced a lot of music for others. At that time he worked with world stars such as Kelly Rowland and The Black Eyed Peas. In 2012, he returned to his roots and launched his own record label Jack Back Record, which released only electronic music.
