The Japanese Twitter account of Disney Plus announced the arrival of an anime series based on Disney Twisted-Wonderland, the mobile title available in Japan and inspired by the worlds of some of the most famous films Disney. The announcement, however, did not reveal any further details.
The smartphone game was launched in Japan in March 2020 and its story begins when the protagonist is invoked into another world via a magic mirror. There he will find himself in the magic academy “Night Ravens College“. With nowhere to go, he will accept the protection of the school’s masked principal and, making the acquaintance of less than friendly students, will seek a way back to his home. Night Ravens College has seven dorms, each inspired by a different Disney movie: Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Snow White, Hercules, The Lion King and Sleeping Beauty. We do not yet know if, after its debut in Japan, the series will also be brought to the rest of the world, we can only cross our fingers.
