The president’s announcement comes before the meeting of the Crisis committee to monitor the effects of the stormwhich will be held this Monday at 4:00 p.m.
Among the set of measures that the Government plans to approve this Monday, are job aid for workers affected by DANAthat the second vice president and Minister of Labor herself, Yolanda Diazhas baptized with the name of “labor shield”.
In that sense, the Government already approved last week a first aid package that already included that “labor shield”which establishes paid leave for workers whose movement poses a danger to their safety or interferes with rescue efforts.
