Capcom has released a new survey to some fans in which, once again, he asked which series would like to see return in the near future among the numerous titles in the publisher’s catalog such as Dino Crisis, Devil May Cry, Onimusha or others.
The survey appears to have been aimed at buyers of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, who are evidently particularly inclined to purchase remakes or reworkings of old Capcom titles, but the issue is certainly of interest to a large segment of the public.
One part of the survey is specifically dedicated to Dead Rising, asking users which other titles they would like to see in a new version, between Dead Rising 2, Off the Record, Dead Rising 3 and Dead Rising 4, or a new chapter in the series.
Historic names that could return
Of particular interest, however, is another question in the survey, which extends to other Capcom series, asking which franchise users would like to see return in the near future.
Among these are titles that many have been waiting for a long time, but obviously it does not mean that there is actually a desire to bring them back into fashion.
In any case, this is the list of games Capcom surveyed:
- Dino Crisis
- Lost Planet
- Devil May Cry
- Power Stone
- Resident Evil
- Onimusha
- Darkstalkers
- Okay
This is not the first time that Capcom has teased users with surveys of this kind and so far they have not always led to effective results on the market. Moreover, some time ago the “super elections” organized by Capcom had already been held, which had made Dino Crisis emerge as the most anticipated title for a possible remaster or remake, in a rather surprising way.
