The service of issuing digital birth certificates joins the Abu Dhabi government’s digital services package available on the “Tamm” platform, where the health facility issues a birth notification through the platform, after which the newborn’s guardian is notified of the steps for registration and entry, adding the required documents digitally, paying the fees and obtaining the digital copy of birth certificate.
The new digital system will start working on December 30, 2021 and will apply to newborns who wish to issue an additional birth certificate for previously born babies in any of the emirate’s hospitals.
