Diggia, an example to follow
Certainly several conditions occurred that favored the scenario that materialized, but what was expressed by Fabio DiGiannantonio straddling the end of 2023 and in this first part of 2024, the Ducati GP25 for next year is 100% earned, the same bike that Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez will have at their disposal.
Di Giannantonio was in the sights of the Pramac team and Yamaha, but he obtained a two-year renewal that will see him settled in the VR46 team that welcomed him at the end of 2023, immediately appreciating his qualities that go beyond the stopwatch, which remains the supreme judge. The interesting aspect of the announcement that arrived today is that Fabio Di Giannantonio has signed a direct contract with Ducati Corseexactly as happened for Jorge Martin.
“9 months ago I found myself without a bike to continue my dream and today I sign a contract with two of the most important entities in MotoGP, it’s hard to believe – said Di Giannantonio – Being able to sign this contract was really very important to me and I’m proud of it. I will be part of the Ducati family for two years and I will be able to continue with my team, with the VR46 Racing Team.. I think that for my sporting growth this represents a milestone, but also a significant starting point. With the support of Ducati and having an official bike at our disposal, we will be able to continue growing and doing great things together. I want to thank Ducati for its trust, Claudio, Gigi, Mauro, but also the VR46 Racing Team that believed in me last year, in a difficult moment for me. So, a big thank you also to Vale, Uccio, Pablo and all the members of the team, as well as to my staff, because without them this whole journey would never have been possible.
