Escuinapa.- Eneyda Rocha Ruiz, The president of DIF Sinaloa announced the commitment to join the municipality to manage and put into operation the Teacapán shelter that has remained a white elephant for several years and has rehabilitated critical areas of the Isla del Bosque shelter.
During her visit to the municipality, the president of DIF Sinaloa toured the Isla del Bosque shelter, in the company of Blanca Estela García Sánchez, mayor; Alberto Vázquez Guzmán, president of DIF Local; and Lluviana López, director of DIF.
“We went to visit the Isla del Bosque shelter, we already visited it and we already have a history with the municipal president. On July 9 we came to attend the Teacapán shelter to see how we can get it going between the DIF Sinaloa, the municipality and also that the government makes a contribution to us, we are already working on it “he expressed.
After carrying out the supervision tour in the Isla del Bosque shelter, the president of DIF Sinaloa promised to attend to the needs that exist in this space, such as rehabilitating the restroom area.
He said that they will seek to join forces so that the families of day laborers can inhabit these spaces next agricultural season and that their children have a safe space when they have to go out to work.
Regarding child labor, he mentioned that the first instance to deal with this problem is the municipal authority and if any case requires special attention, it is when it is channeled to DIF Sinaloa.
Rocha Ruíz said that in the southern area of Sinaloa there is a great lag in terms of health and food, so they have focused on giving attention to families with the highest index of vulnerability with the different social programs.
“The State DIF has served the municipality of Escuinapa with Welfare brigades, the communities have been served, medicines are brought, care is given to minors, older adults, the attorney general comes and other secretaries have joined”.

He reported that next July 9, the Transforming Communities brigades will come to Escuinapa, in which the Governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, will be present to provide benefits to the inhabitants of La Concha.
