Angostura, Sinaloa.- They went near 600 grandparents who enjoyed the great celebration organized by the Angostura DIF Systemby María de Los Ángeles Gaxiola Beltrán, through the National Institute for the Elderly (INAPAM), in coordination and support with the City Council, which is wisely directed by the mayor, Miguel Ángel Angulo Acosta.
In the framework of the celebration of Grandfather’s daythe director of DIF, María de Los Ángeles Gaxiola Beltrán, and the municipal president, Miguel Ángel Angulo Acosta, crowned the queen, the king and the princess of the grandparents, who will worthily represent INAPAM at the next Angostura 2023 Carnival.
The grandparents took their best steps to enjoy the afternoon to the sound of live band music, in addition to enjoying a delicious typical Mexican dish, such as barbecue, as well as hundreds of gifts were given to those who luck smiled on them and they were favored in the traditional raffle.
Gaxiola Beltrán stated that she was very happy that this celebration was possible, since it was suspended for two years due to the pandemic.
He expressed his gratitude to all the people who did their bit by donating a gift for the grandparents.
The municipal official indicated that this party helped the grandparents to get out of the routine but always taking care of health protocols such as the use of face masks and the application of antibacterial gel.
“We always recommend that they use the mask and apply the antibacterial gel even though that is a personal decision,” he said.

For his part, the mayor, Miguel Ángel Angulo Acosta, commented that among many occupations that most grandparents have is caring for and pampering their grandchildren, which is why they were filled with joy to be present at said event. “You love your children very much, but you adore your grandchildren,” he argued.
