Nina Urgant was born on September 4, 1929 in the city of Luga, Leningrad Region. Since 1954, she performed on the stage of the Leningrad Theater named after the Lenin Komsomol, and then worked at the Leningrad Academic Drama Theater named after Pushkin. She got her first big role in a movie in 1964, when she starred in Igor Talankin’s film “Entry”.
