Died American actor Peter Scolari, who became famous along with Tom Hanks in the TV series “Bosom Friends” informs CNN citing its manager Ellen Lubin Sanicki.
The artist died at the age of 66. He has had cancer for the past two years.
Scolari has starred in a wide range of films and TV series, including Bosom Buddies (1980-1982), Newhart (1982-1990) and Murphy Brown (1988-2018). In 2016, he won an Emmy Award for his role as Ted Horvath in Girls (2012-2017). He has also appeared in Broadway productions, including the musical Wicked and Hairspray.
Earlier it became known about the death of the Soviet and Russian theater and film actor Vladimir Lobins, also known under the pseudonym Voldemar Lobins. The artist died at the age of 84. The cause of death is not named.
