The Emirates Corporation for Health Services announced that Dibba Al-Fujairah Hospital has obtained the international accreditation certificate from the Joint Commission International for Accreditation of Health Institutions in the Middle East and North Africa (JCI), after successfully applying all the conditions and requirements for obtaining this accreditation. This brings the number of hospitals that have obtained international accreditation within the institution’s network of facilities to 16 out of a total of 17 hospitals, at a rate of 94%. A panel of arbitrators and international experts completed remote verification processes, using the latest technology in flexible and interactive cameras and specialized audio devices, to match the hospital’s commitment to international best practices in terms of clinical service quality, patient safety, and the efficiency of medical and administrative staff in accordance with the best internationally approved standards and protocols. On this occasion, Dr. Youssef Mohammed Al Serkal, Director General of the Emirates Corporation for Health Services, congratulated the administrative and medical staff at Dibba Al-Fujairah Hospital, praising their sincere efforts throughout the intensive preparation period to match the accreditation standards according to a systematic and studied work plan and a specific time frame, which culminated in an outstanding and well-deserved achievement. And it heralds a coming stage of qualitative achievements that will consolidate the hospital’s position among the best hospitals in the country in terms of the quality of health services and the efficiency of the administrative and medical staff, in a way that enhances positive competition and is in the interest of patients and customers.
