According to Appmagic data, Diablo Immortal garnered over 8.5 million downloads in the first two weeks of its launch, earning a Blizzard more than 24 million dollars.
Diablo Immortal has quickly become one of the most downloaded apps by players, as well as the second most profitable behind the mobile version of Blizzard’s popular card game, Hearthstone. The biggest income is due to American players with 43% of the total, while South Korea is in second place (23%).
Revenue is split relatively equally between the iOS and Android markets, with $ 13 million and $ 11.3 million respectively. Downloads in both markets peaked in the days immediately following the game’s release on June 2, before starting to decline on June 5.
26% of all downloads were made by users in the United States, with South Korea once again in second place with 11%. We remind you that the data does not include Belgium and Holland, since the game is not available in those countries due to loot boxes.
