Diablo 4 received the Season 4: Renewed Loot for about a week but already some signs are proving positivewith users who seem to have appreciated the innovations brought by Blizzard, something also demonstrated by a increase in active players on Steam.
In fact, the game scored its own record absolute number of users simultaneously connected on the Valve platform just two days ago, corresponding to the launch of Season 4, with over 29,000 players connected to the game.
This is not a completely reliable index, because it represents a partial data. In fact, the game arrived late on Steam, so it should be taken with a pinch of salt, but it shows if nothing else that the trend is positive following the release of the new season.
A partial but nevertheless indicative figure
In fact, let’s remember that Diablo 4 it was not available at launch on Steam but only through its Battle.net platform, where the highest numbers have probably been recorded so far in terms of quantity of users and online traffic.
The release took place in June and the game only arrived on Steam last October, so obviously it didn’t see the typical initial explosion recorded by SteamDB, which explains the relatively low numbers seen in the chart on the amount of players online.
To this we must also add the fact that Steam is only one of the platforms where the game is available, being also on Battle.net, Game Pass and various consoles, but in any case we can see a positive trend as recorded in correspondence with the launch of Loot Renovated.
We remind you that Diablo 4 Season 4: Renewed Loot is available from May 14th, bringing numerous new features not only in terms of content but also in terms of structure and progression, and that the latest patch has made Refinement cheaper.
