Three female veterinarians from among the national cadres joined the K9 Security Inspection Department at Abu Dhabi Police and began their duties in providing veterinary health care for police dogs: Dr. Zabiah Al Qubaisi, Dr. Dalal Al Kathiri and Dr. Fatima Al Shamsi.
Coinciding with International Women’s Day, Abu Dhabi Police confirmed its interest in encouraging national female elements to work in their various sectors, motivating them and paying attention to their ideas and efforts to advance the process of police and security work.
Dr. Zabih Khalifa Al Qubaisi, a veterinarian in the Veterinary Services Department of the K9 Security Inspection Department at Abu Dhabi Police, praised the support of the wise leadership and its keenness to empower women in various fields and encourage them to be creative and distinguished.
She expressed her appreciation to the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and its interest in the female component in various fields of work, explaining that the opportunity is available to distinguish Emirati women, and to highlight their high skills in the fields of veterinary medicine and the care of police dogs.
She emphasized that the profession of veterinary medicine is a profession in which mercy and humanity are mixed and in line with the nature and nature of women in their passion, love and compassion, because giving has no limits, especially in this beautiful giving that we do not expect in return for it because it stems from the heart of the woman’s heart.
She referred to her realistic work experience, success and distinction, explaining that her love and friendship for animals and her association with many of them is what prompted her to enter the veterinary profession, where she performs her duties in caring for police dogs, examining them, providing the necessary treatments for them after diagnosis, following up on their health status, taking care of them and providing the necessary treatments for them.
She praised the attention of the K9 Security Inspection Department at Abu Dhabi Police and its keenness to implement and implement preventive programs in the care of police dogs, such as annual vaccinations for police dogs, combating external and internal parasites, and maintaining the cleanliness of dogs and their barns.
