The Federal District begins to vaccinate today (24) adolescents aged 17 without comorbidities. Until yesterday (23), the capital was immunizing only people aged 18 or over and aged 12 to 17 with comorbidities, autism and Down syndrome.
In this 17-year-old group, as only the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine was authorized by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), this will be the immunizing agent made available at the vaccination posts designated by the Health Department.
“To avoid the choice of vaccine by older people, there will be 30 exclusive points for people aged 17”, informed the secretary of the Civil House of the Federal District, Gustavo Rocha, at a press conference yesterday (23).
The decision was taken, according to Rocha, to avoid choosing vaccines. If the points served teenagers and young people and adults, there could be an option for certain brands.
The Civil House secretary informed that with the arrival of new doses from Pfizer/BioNTech, as of Thursday (26), vaccination will begin for those who have a second dose scheduled until September 3rd.
Anticipation of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine started last week, including people scheduled to return for the second dose by August 31st.
A new decree relaxed the rules for delivery and drive Thru. Until yesterday, all establishments could only operate until midnight, with these services being able to be extended up to 1:00 am, with orders issued until 12:00 am.
Starting today, establishments can open after midnight for delivery and drive-thru activities. The time limitation for these services was abolished, and the commerce could operate delivery and collection of meals throughout the night.
