Dexis Ibérica reinforces its commitment to Saragossa. The company managed to have its headquarters in the Aragonese capital in 2021. And now, a further step has been taken, given that this city is also where the tax entity resulting from the completion of the merger process of the nine societies. This gives way to Dexiberica Soluciones Industriales SAU, with the commercial name Dexis Iberica.
It is a business step that has been taken after several years operating under the Dexis Ibérica brand the different companies specialized in process optimization and automation, digitalization of maintenance and worker protection.
“In reality, it is the culmination of four years of work because we have grown internally and externally with purchases of companies in Spain. With the pandemic, everything was retained and we thought about what we could do to grow,” says José Giménez, CEO of the company, to theEconomist
A situation that led to the focus being placed on four related projects like this unification process to not operate with ten different CIFs plus the holding company and to have a single language, as well as to create a logistics platform for all of Spain and its reorganization so that it is the headquarters.
In addition, the complete integration process was launched, in which it has been immersed since 2021 and which is now culminating. This merger process includes the companies Dexiberica Soluciones Industriales SAU, DS Automacion SL, Emprogal SLU, Equipamientos Laborales Proa SL, Helios Dica SLU, Nasegsa Protección y Seguridad, SL, RP Mecatrónica SL, Intra Automation SL and Soluciones Industriales Tecnomeca SAU, which have been operating collaboratively under the name Dexis Ibérica.
With this strategic merger it is intended improve operational efficiency and enhance innovation capacity in order to respond to the challenges of modern industry. It will also allow the company to consolidate its leadership in the market, provide a more unified and coherent service, but without losing proximity and trust with customers and strengthen the relationship with business partners.
“The decision to merge responds to our long term vision to be more agile, innovative and effective. As a single entity, we will be able to make better use of our resources and respond more quickly to changes in the market,” said Sergio Sorribas Salas, general director of the company.
Dexis Ibérica, which belongs to the French group Descours & Cabaud and has 33 points distributed between Spain and Portugal, it also continues to advance in its center in the Zaragoza Logistics Platform, which inaugurated last year with a investment of 14 million of euros.
These facilities are located on the plot of 34,000 square meterswith a distribution platform of 17,900 square meters, to focus its stock and optimize customer service. “The entire organizational part has already been developed,” says Giménez, with the automation of 3,000 square meters pending.
The company’s forecast is that, in 2025, we will be working at full capacity in these facilities where the robotization process will surely be operational a year later.
Dexis Ibérica sum 130 employees. The company has been growing in turnover, going from around 40 million euros in 2015 to around 119 million in 2019 and closing 2023 with around 140 million of euros. In Portugal it has a turnover of approximately 14 million euros.
