A bottle of water, on which European experts allegedly found traces of a substance from the Novichok group, was found in the room of the Tomsk hotel where Alexei Navalny lived. It is reported by RIA News with reference to his associates.
“This is a bottle from a room in a Tomsk hotel where Navalny himself and our entire film crew stayed. Two weeks later, it was on the bottle from the Tomsk issue that the German laboratory found traces of Novichok, ”said the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK).
Representatives of the organization clarified that when it became known about the blogger’s hospitalization, they called a lawyer and went up to the oppositionist’s room with him. There, they began to describe, record and package everything they could find, including hotel water bottles. Later, these items were handed over to doctors in Berlin.
The version about the traces of “Novichok” in the Navalny case appeared after the statement of the German government on the results of the work of military toxicologists in Europe. According to researchers, traces of the poison were found in the blood, skin and urine of Navalny, as well as in the bottle of water from which he drank. Russian doctors insist that they did not find any poisons in the course of numerous tests.
Navalny is in the Berlin clinic “Charite”. On September 10, the Russian completely regained consciousness. On September 14, he was disconnected from the ventilator and was able to get out of the hospital bed.
