Destiny 2: Ultimate Form requires a huge amount of space for installation on PC via Steam, according to the latest information provided by Bungie regarding the long-awaited expansion of the shooter.
In fact, we talk about good 299.7 GB, if we also consider the space needed for the base game, i.e. 144.2 GB. Only the Epic Games Store comes close to this value, with a total request of 279.66 GB, again considering the 144.61 GB of the base game.
Why so much? It all depends on how Steam (and the Epic Games Store, apparently) handle pre-loads, going to temporarily request extra spacewhich fortunately then reduces substantially at the end of the installation.
The dimensions on other platforms
Arriving on June 4, Destiny 2: The Ultimate Forme makes significantly less expensive demands on consoles in terms of the space required for installation, for example on PS5 you need 143.81 GB while on PS4 you can be satisfied with 129.31 GB.
The requirements on Xbox Series Finally there is the PC version of the Microsoft Store, which requires 156.22 GB of free space for download and installation.
Still on the subject of La Forma Ultima, the expansion ended up online early due to a Sony flaw and this means that some users managed to download the package, raising the question of any spoilers which could appear on social media in the next few days: be careful!
