Destiny 2: The Ultimate Forme got its institutional launch trailer todaywith which Bungie showed something of the new maxi-expansion of the game and its story, which promises to be quite epic in this new and important episode of the saga.
In The Ultimate Form, the guardians will finally enter the Pale Heart of the Traveler, to help the Vanguard now in sight of what will be the final clash with their most bitter enemy, the Witness.
The story continues directly from the concluding events of the Season of Wishing and the Eclipse year, which led to the first meeting between Cayde-6 and the Raven inside the Traveler.
Towards the final battle
Destiny 2: The Ultimate Form is dated release now imminent, set for Tuesday 4 Junethe day on which the guardians will be able to head to the Traveler themselves.
Here they will have to wield the powers of Light and Darkness to advance to battle against the Witness and his armies.
In recent days we have seen trailers introducing the new enemies of the “Faction of Terrors”, as well as a video that took us right inside the Pale Heart, inside the Traveler. At this point, it’s time to explore the area first-hand, with the launch of the Ultimate Forme coming next week.
Based on what we can see from the trailer, it seems that The Ultimate Forme raises the stakes and presents some decidedly disturbing elements within the Destiny 2 universe, making this approach even more exciting.
