Together with United Russia volunteers, State Duma deputy Timofey Bazhenov fulfilled the requests of pensioners from two districts of Moscow. About this on Thursday, November 4, it says on the party website.
“The work of the United Russia volunteer center in the northeast continues. During all non-working days in a pandemic, it is very important to provide support to people on time. We process and fulfill the requests of our residents on a daily basis, ”said Timofey Bazhenov.
For example, retirees from Rostokino and Maryina Roshcha contacted the United Russia volunteer center in the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow with a request to help them purchase and deliver food. Pensioners comply with the self-isolation regime, so they could not purchase what they needed on their own.
Timofey Bazhenov, a State Duma deputy from United Russia, reacted to the applications of Muscovites. Together with the activists of the volunteer center, he handed over food packages with everything necessary to Muscovites.
On October 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing non-working days with the preservation of wages in the country for the period from October 30 to November 7 in connection with the epidemiological situation with the coronavirus. In this case, the regions can enter the period of non-working days earlier than the established period and extend it if necessary.
On October 19, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that elderly Muscovites and people with chronic diseases from October 25, 2021 to February 25, 2022, are sent to a home regime.
The mayor also called on senior citizens to get vaccinated in order to protect themselves and maintain their usual way of life without restrictions.
On October 13, the headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus indicated a small number of elderly Muscovites vaccinated against COVID-19 – only a third of elderly residents of Moscow were vaccinated. They recalled that the disease in older patients is more severe and more often leads to death.
A large-scale vaccination has been taking place in the Russian Federation since January. Five vaccines against coronavirus have been registered in the country: Sputnik V, which became the first vaccine against COVID-19 in the Russian Federation and the world, as well as Sputnik Light, EpiVacCorona, EpiVacCorona-N and KoviVak.
