Case Denise, the prosecutor of Marsala has notified a notice of conclusion of the investigations to the former prosecutor Maria Angioni, now a labor judge in Sassari, accused of false statements to the public prosecutor
An act that normally precedes the request for indictment. The former prosecutor, who followed the investigation in the initial phase into the disappearance of the little girl Denise Pipitone, the child who disappeared in Mazara del Vallo in September 2004 and never found, recently and repeatedly was the protagonist of sensational statements to the media and the press, following which she was then heard by the Public Prosecutor of Marsala for brief information. In particular as a witness, after having reported attempts to mislead the investigation conducted 17 years ago on the disappearance of Denise, connivance of the police with the kidnappers and very serious flaws in the investigations carried out. Convened by the prosecutor’s office, it confirmed the accusations launched on TV, but the circumstances reported by the former prosecutor passed to the investigations of his colleagues in Marsala have not been confirmed. Hence the prosecution for false statements to the public prosecutor which was followed by a new convocation in the Prosecutor’s Office, this time, as a suspect. Angioni had revealed in recent days that he had presented a complaint to the CSM against his colleagues in Marsala.
