Environmental movement Elokapina will once again demonstrate in Helsinki on Saturday. Elokapina cut off traffic on the Sörnäinen coastal road at Kaikukatu in about three countries in the afternoon.
Helsinki police confirm that the demonstration is ongoing and the police have not been notified in advance.
Police are monitoring the situation and directing traffic. Decisions on other possible actions have not yet been taken.
In its press release, Elokapina describes the demonstration as a performance and a disappointment with current climate policy.
