Aniplex announced that Fuji Television will delay the release of theepisode 4 from DEMON SLAYER: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2, the first part of the new wave of episodes that summarizes the narrative arc Mugen Train. Initially planned for October 31, 2021, will now be broadcast on November 7. Despite being one of the most viewed programs on the television network, the ufotable anime will have to give way to reportage from the elections to the House of Representatives of Japan.
The delay will also affect the expected broadcast on other networks such as Tokyo MX, At-X and Animax. Although the episodes are airing a week later than Fuji TV, the delay will cause episode 4 to be postponed for a week on other networks as well.
It is not yet clear whether Crunchyroll, which also holds the distribution rights in Italy for DEMON SLAYER Season 2, will broadcast the episode on October 31 as originally planned or if, more likely, it will comply with the delay imposed by Aniplex and Fuji TV.
