Officials in private schools confirmed to “Emirates Today”, Saeed Al-Marwani, Zaid Al-Khadra, and Amin Al-Malik, that more than 10 carts have been allocated to sell meals to students, so that the supervisors of the canteens will transfer the carts to the classroom at the beginning of the rest time to gain time and grant Students have the opportunity to eat in class.
They added that students standing in long queues in front of the canteen to buy a meal or juice drains their time and exposes them to exhaustion as a result of the heat of the weather. Therefore, the schools decided that it is better to transport breakfast meals to students in the classroom in a healthy, safe and fast manner without the student being late for his meal during a period of time. They pointed out that the canteens were informed of the necessity of designing carts, called “delivery meals” so that the demands of each student are met and transferred to him in the classroom during the break time, explaining that the students wishing to purchase register their requests at the beginning of the school day, and their requests are transferred to the canteen He would later prepare it and pass it on to the students in the classroom during break time to eat what they asked for.
They pointed out that 80% of students buy breakfast from the canteen, so the conditions of health and nutritional standards have been set to oblige canteens to provide healthy and fresh meals daily, where a nutritional examination of meals is carried out by the school on a daily basis and by the competent authorities that visit suddenly and periodically canteens to ensure of food safety.
