The delivery service from supermarkets is growing, with new products that can now be ordered on Deliveroo. And not only. Thanks to the partnership with Carrefour Italia, it is possible to use the App to order parapharmaceutical products – such as food supplements, dietetic products, shampoos, items for body hygiene and first aid – and, for the duration of the pandemic, also the test rapid serological anti-covid Biosynex Autotest. The service for parapharmaceutical products starts in five cities: Rome, Milan, Salerno, Vigevano, Turin, Salò and Tortona.
In addition to the novelty linked to this new type of offer, in June Deliveroo continues to expand in our country. This month there will be five cities where it will be possible to start ordering from your favorite restaurants using the App. In particular, the service will also be active in Empoli and Siena in Tuscany, in Teramo in Abruzzo, and Legnano in Lombardy and Cerea (Vr) in Veneto . With these new cities, the total number of municipalities in which the platform is present rises to 284 with dozens of new partner restaurants.
Europeans arrive in Rome: a month of free deliveries in the capital
June is also the month of the European Football Championships, which will kick off at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, on Friday 11, with the inaugural match between Italy and Turkey. And it is precisely to celebrate the start of the tournament in the capital that Deliveroo, Premium Partner of the Italian Football Federation, launches a special promotion aimed at users of the Eternal City: 1 month of free deliveries on all orders, until 11 July, the day of the final of the continental tournament.
“Over the course of the pandemic, Deliveroo proved to be an essential service. We want to continue to be, and the extension of the supermarket delivery service – with new products such as parapharmaceuticals and, for the duration of the pandemic, anti-covid tests – is further proof of this. Our service is growing, also in terms of territorial presence, and is ever closer to the needs of Italians”, Comments Matteo Sarzana, general manager of Deliveroo Italy.
