After Red, Blue, Yellow, Magenta, Pink, DMRC Metro will now run Silver Line Metro in Phase Four. DMRC has released the color codes of three corridors being built in Metro Phase 4 on Wednesday. It has an extension of two lines old lines, it will be known by the same name. At the same time, the corridor being constructed between Tughlakabad to Aerocity will be known as Silver Line.
Three corridors are being built in Metro Phase 4. Janakpuri west to RK Ashram line is an extension of the magenta line, it will be called the magenta line. Similarly, there is an expansion of Shiv Vihar Pink Line from Munkujpur, then it will be known as Pink Line. The new color silver has been given to the Aerocity line only from Tughlakabad. There will be an 8th Metro Corridor in Delhi which will be identified by color.

In Delhi, the metro is currently known as Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Violet, Magenta and Pink Line. Colors have been determined keeping primary colors in mind. Red, Yellow Blue are the primary colors. Hence the first line Red Line (Rithala to Dilshad Garden) was kept in Delhi Metro Phase I. In phase two, the name Blue Line came up. Phase three came with a pink, magenta line based on a mixture of primary colors. Now Silver color has been given in Metro Phase 4.
Many areas of South Delhi will connect with the Silver Line
Silver Line (Aerocity to Tughlakabad) Metro Corridor is the only new line of three corridors being built in Metro Phase 4. The rest of the line is an extension of the old line. Due to the creation of this corridor, many areas of South Delhi which will be unconnected to it by metro. Now they will also get a new identity from the color code of the metro. It will be made a metro corridor in areas like Vasant Kunj, Masudpur, Mehrauli, Garden of Five Senses, Rangpuri, Rajokari, Sangam Vihar.
Flyover above metro down on the silver line corridor
A flyover will also be constructed on the metro and road on the Metro Pillar of Aerocity to Tughlakabad line. The 2.5 km long flyover will empty four red lights. Silver Line Metro will not only improve the connectivity of the area. Rather, a flyover on Metro Pillar will also eliminate the problem of jam in the area. This will eliminate IGNOU Road, Mandir Marg, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Guru Ravidas Mark Lalbatti here. After its completion, more than 30 thousand vehicles passing here in the morning and evening will get rid of the jam.
This line is being built in metro phase 4.
